Also, on display in this area is personal memorabilia of both Michael and Ed. Of course, no exhibition would be complete without Michael’s collection of EVH guitars.

The AVN Awards are film awards sponsored and presented by the American adult video industry trade magazine AVN (Adult Video News) to recognize achievement in various aspects of the creation and marketing of American pornographic films. They are often called the “Oscars of porn”.

Although several big-name rappers have contributed material to XXX movies, Van Halen is probably the first major rock star to lend his name to an adult project. At the time, Eddie Van Halen told Adult Video News (AVN) that he’s not bothered by possible criticism.

Sacred Sin
The Movie

Director: Michael Ninn
Executive Producer: Eddie Van Halen
Studio: Ninn Worx
2006

How do we define reality? How do we define sanity? How do we reconcile the two? Why do we think that we must? Imagine a place where time has but the barest of relevance. Concepts such as “past” and “present” hold a meaningless position. Remembering what was, or imagining what will be, become intellectual exercises at best. When the mind itself develops the power to bite, the power to drive sexual desire, and the power to seek its own release, what does it matter where “real” begins and “imaginary” recedes? In the delicate moment before we awaken our minds reach full expansion. Dreams control our lives, and reality bends to suit our desires. Catherine – the story of a haunting woman – the story of a woman haunted.

Enter the world of Sacred Sin – a world where ungodly mortal power employed to diversify sexual experience can still but offer temporary respite – a place where there exists but ultimate conflict. Enter the world where the haunting imagery of Michael Ninn and the unrivaled musical energy Eddie Van Halen combine with electric power and Biblical struggle.
