The VCA Era
1993 ~ 2001
In 1992, Ninn made his first Adult erotic films – Black Orchid, Principles of Lust, and Two Sisters for Western Visuals.
The next year he signed with VCA Pictures and went on to produce a series of award-winning films, including Sex, Latex, and Shock.
Sex, Latex, and Shock would garnish an unheard-of never-before precedence of 30 AVN trophies in 3 years.
Other award-winning movies directed during this period of time for VCA include The DIVA Girls series, Ritual, starring Russian supermodel Vicca, Cashmere, New Wave Hookers, Fade to Blue, and Michael’s favorite from this era Dark Garden starring Juli Ashton.

During this period, Michael would sign his very first contract star, Anais. Anais starred in Ninn’s award-winning movie In The Garden Of Shadows (2003) a dream-like, otherworldly ambient, strange, atmospheric, and intensely erotic creation. AVN stated, “No one can beat Ninn Worx for production quality. The sets, costumes, and stars are gorgeous, the music score by Loren Alexander is stunning and the sex is powerful. In the Garden of Shadows overflows with stellar editing and haunting imagery”. Additionally, during this era, Ninn would take his first trip, one of many to follow, to Europe. Shooting, mainly in Budapest and Prague, Michael introduced some of Europe’s most gorgeous talent, Wanda Curtis and Katsumi, to the American market.
